Kulsum Shaikh was born and raised in New York state. She studied at Siena College for three years working on her B.S in Physics Bio/Chem. She is currently working towards her B.S in Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is the Founder and CEO of The Young Ummah. You’ll find her running, being a thunderstorm fanatic, reading, trying to cook and eat new things, and laughing a whole lot with friends and family.
